Avril Lavigne’s Malaysian leg of her Asian journey was banned recently by the Malaysian government because of protests from the youth wing of a fundamentalist opposition group, the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party. They told the Avril Lavigne was too hot. As if anything can be “too sexy”. Everyone knows that hawt has to be taken to it’s absolute limit, and if everything the world is filled with things that “aren’t sexy enough”. But that’s Muslim fundamentalists for you. Fine thing the government has seen through their illogical claims and their Arts, Culture and Heritage Ministry has announced that Avril’s concert will be allowed to push through. With 10,000 tickets sold already, I guess they chose to listen to the majority of the people instead of a vocal but unrepresentativefundamentalist “youth wing”.
